New cook for the EDR
Luckily we got a new cook on Friday, I did not relish the thought of trying to run the place by myself.
We are also supposed to get a new attendant as well.

Weekend
Another week is over and I really need to get my 2 days rest before I go back on Friday.
There is a strong possibility that it will be me, myself and I on Friday & Saturday.
We shall see.

More people lost
We lost another 3 people on the graveyard crew last night, one came in drunk, one walked off the job and the other has been no-call no-show all week.
Give it a couple more weeks and we will be trying to run the kitchens with 3 people total.

Another Monday fast approaches
My weekend is almost over and it is back to the slave grind tonight.
I think I might make him the attendent and runner tonight and make sure that breakfast is out on time.

I stayed home today and did nothing but watch TV and surf the internet.
Tomorrow I have to go down and get my paycheck though.

My Thursday
Almost time to head out the door and head to work, Thursday’s almost always suck as you are so close to the end of the week but not quite there.
Another night of not enough help and trying to do the job of 3 people.

Losing more employees
Found out today that we have lost the person who cooks bacon already, another one is out for 3 months (probably forever) and another one has given a 2 week notice.
We are already severly understaffed and now it will just get worse.

End of the shorter work week
I only had to work 4 days this week and still get paid for 5. Tonight I can just relax and do absolutely nothing.

Wreck on the Laughlin bridge
Last night there was a lovely wreck on the bridge, apparently a tanker truck lost its brakes and hit several cars and a motorcycle. This shut down the Hwy 95 / Hwy 163 interchange. This forced me to take a 15 mile route to get back to where I could see.
I had to take the same route this morning as they still did not have the intersection open 9.5 hours later.
