Jan 10th More warm weather

Looks like another week of 60 or so every day for me, glad I am not east of the Rockies!!

Dec 28th Warming up a bit

Looks like I will enjoy some temps in the upper 50’s for the next week or so. Much better than the low 40’s and mid 30’s that have hit us the last week.

Of course I could still be at the Grand Canyon that was down to -9 the other day!!

Dec 21st Getting and staying cold

This place really sucks the heat out almost as fast as I can pump it in, it seems there is not an ounce of insulation anywhere.

I think I have managed to seal up the major source of cold air in the bedroom, but will not be able to tell until later tonight when it drops into the 30’s again.

Looks like Christmas will be slow at work, hopefully that means I can just relax and not have to rush around like a chicken with its head cut off like normal.

Dec 7th Another relaxing weekend

I get to kick back and relax once again this “weekend”.

Maybe watch some football, watch a couple of movies and pretty much do nothing.

Tuesday is payday.

Nov 30th Windy

It almost sounds like the trailer is trying to tear itself apart with the wind blowing from the north.

Even worse is my bedroom is on the north side.

Nov 23rd Rain coming in for the holiday

We are getting this warning almost a week before, must be a big storm.

SOUTHERN GREAT BASIN. THE FIRST SYSTEM WILL APPROACH THE COAST OF
CALIFORNIA BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON THEN MOVE INLAND TUESDAY NIGHT AND
WEDNESDAY. THIS SYSTEM COULD BRING WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION TO THE
MOJAVE DESERT AND SOUTHERN GREAT BASIN…WITH SIGNIFICANT SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE IN THE HIGH MOUNTAINS. SNOW LEVELS ARE
EXPECTED TO LOWER TO AROUND 6000 FEET BY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.

Nov 17th Warm

It is up to 80 F today here in Golden Valley and it is the middle of November

Of course we are still getting down into the 40’s during the night.

Nov 6th Trailer is sealed for the winter

I put the last piece of plastic in place today and hope to keep the place warmer that is was last winter.

Oct 31st Going to get a little bit colder.

Looks like I can almost shut down the swamp cooler as highs are finally going down under 80 here in Golden Valley.

That means I can drain it, clean and wrap it up for winter, then cover over that window as well.

Oct 23rd Almost done

Window was finally returned today and now I only have 2 windows and the back door to cover with plastic for winter.

Of course we are still getting up to the 80’s during the day, but dropping down to the 50’s at night.
